Paul Tynan - The weirdest person Carl Murr knows. Also a great writer and trumpet player. Jazz professor at St FX in Antigonish Nova Scotia.
Spike Mason - Crazy good saxophone player and composer. Lives in Sydney, Australia.
Joel Fountain - One of the most tasteful drummers I met in Texas. He also kills plants to eat them. Went on tour with Maynard Ferguson. Writes music like he's not a drummer.
Jeff Plant - Bass owner. Plays bass in the style of total burnination. Like THIS.
Michael Barton - Jazz bass player and composer (and awesome photographer). We recorded together on NJPT and a lot of duo stuff.
Fred Hamilton - One of my mentors, now also my boss - Head of UNT jazz guitar department.
Bill Risby - Wonderful musician, Sydney keyboardist/pianist - played on my 1st CD.
Emanuel Schmidt - Swiss born Australian Guitarist - We were both students together at Wesley Institute. Awesome website.
Rob Wilkerson - NY based saxophone player. We were at UNT together. Would always say he "ruined music" after he played the coolest stuff I had ever heard.
Zack Hexum - Currently an L.A. based artist. Also former UNT guy. Wonderful tenor saxophone player, but also a great pop/rock singer/songwriter.
Craig Butterfield - Doctor of Bassology. I met him at UNT. Used to play with Maynard Ferguson. on faculty at the other USC - South Carolina.
Ken Edwards - Super cool guy and awesome trumpet player. Used to go to North Texas, also toured with Maynard Ferguson

Ryan Anthony - My cousin! He plays trumpet all over the universe. used to play with Canadian Brass.
Paul Stivitts - Another mighty fine drummer from UNT ...Becoming quite successful in NY!
Marcus Wolfe - my friend, the sax playing Marcus Wolfe, has published a great music-technique-with-dice book called Roll Play. Check it out!
